Read the text about car production .
Almost every car is produced to the customer’s specific requirements – a built-to –order car.
As soon as a car is ordered and a delivery date agreed, weekly and daily production schedules are created and sent to outside suppliers and the company’s own pre-assembly stations. This is to make sure that all the necessary components arrive on time.
First of all, a small data carrier is attached to the floor pan in the body shop. This data carrier contains all the customer’s specifications and communicates wirelessly with control units along the production line. In the body shop the floor pan, wheel arches, side panels, and bonnet – are then mounted to make the body-in-white.
The finished body shell then goes into the paint shop where the data carrier determines the colour. In final assembly, the interior and exterior parts ( for example the front and rear bumpers, headlights, windscreen, and other windows) are fitted. After quality control and a final check, the finished car can be released. It is now ready for delivery to its new owner.
Describe the car production process in your own words.

Basically, the automobile consists of four components:
The framework or support for the engine and wheels.
The power train or mechanism that transmits the power from the engine to the wheels.
To these may be added a fifth component the car-body accessories: the heater, radio and other devices that contribute to the convenience and comfort of the driver.
The engine is the sources of power that makes the wheels go around and the car move. It is usually referred to as an internal combustion engine because gasoline is burned within its cylinders, or combustion chambers. Most automobile engines have six or eight cylinders, although some four-, twelve-, and sixteen-cylinders engines are in use.
The fuel system. The fuel system is designed:
To store liquid gasoline.
To deliver it to the engine cylinders in the form of vapor mixed with air
A fuel tank in which the gasoline is stored.
.A fuel line, through which the gasoline can be brought from the tank to the engine.
A fuel pump, which pulls the gasoline through the fuel line.
A carburetor, which mixes the gasoline with air.
The electric current performs several jobs on the car.
It cranks the engine.
It furnishes electric sparks at the spark plugs that ignite the compressed mixture in the cylinders.
It operates the radio and heater motor.
It supplies light for night driving.
It operates gauges on the dash of the car that indicate charging rate, oil pressure, engine temperature and amount of fuel in the tank.
Lights, radio, heater, indicating gauges and other electrically operated devices are usually considered as accessory devices, since they are not absolutely necessary to the operation of the car.
translate: fuel system
b)Write missing word:
A full set of instrument is provided in a carefully considered layout:
SPEEDOMEETER DASH BATTERY
FUEL GAUGE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE WATER
The function of speedometer is to show the speed of the moving car.
The function of fuel gauge is to show the amount of liquid fuel in the gasoline tank.
Water temperature device is designed to indicate the temperature of water- jacket around the cylinder and its head.
Battery discharge lamp is designed to show the charging rate of the accumulator.
The function of oil pressure device is to indicate the pressure of oil inside of oil system of the engine.
Tachometer is constructed to show the number of revolutions of crank shaft in the engine.
Usually the dash has a stylish black plastic look. It is convenient and neat, ensures safe driving.
Power train. The power that the engine develops must be transmitted to the car wheels, so that the wheels will rotate and cause the car to move. The power train performs this job providing in the process several different gear ratios between the engine crankshaft and wheels, so that the crankshaft may rotate approximately four, eight, or twelve times to cause the wheels to rotate once. The power train consists of a series of gears and shafts, which mechanically connect the engine shafts with the car wheels, and contains a clutch transmission or change gears, a propeller shaft and the final drive.
Clutch. The clutch permits the driver to connect the crankshaft to, or disconnect it from, the power train. Its main part is a friction disk pressed tightly by springs to the smooth face of the engine flywheel. The flywheel is attached to the end of the engine crankshaft and when the clutch is engaged the friction disk is held against the flywheel so that it revolves with the flywheel. When the clutch foot pedal is depressed the friction disk moves away from the flywheel face and stops revolving; when the foot pressure on the clutch pedal is removed, the springs again force the friction disk against the flywheel face, so that it once more rotates with the flywheel. The rotary motion is transmitted through the clutch and clutch shaft to the transmission gears and from there through the propeller shaft and the final drive on to the rear wheels.
Transmission. The transmission or change gears provide a means of varying the gear ratios of the engine crankshaft and the wheels. There are three main gear positions in the automobile transmission: low gear, second gear, and high gear. Thus the engine crankshaft may turn four, eight or twelve times for each wheel revolution (approximately). In addition; a reverse gear is provided that permits backing the car.
