OpenVPN Error: All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use

Ошибка при попытке подключения к OpenVPN серверу.

Ошибка “All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use” означает что в системе проблемы с виртуальным Tun/Tap сетевым адаптером, который использует OpenVPN в Windows.

В моем случае он просто не появлялся в системе Windows7.

Для исправления проблемы нужно переустановить драйвер виртуального адаптера.

Полностью удаляем драйвер. Открываем папку C:\Program Files\TAP-Windows
Нажимаем правой кнопкой на файл Uninstall.exe и выбираем Запустить от имени администратора.

Качаем Tap драйвер с OpenVPN репозитория и устанавливаем его с правами админа (правый клик на файле > Запустить от имени администратора )

После всего обязательно заходим в Панель управления\Сеть и Интернет\Сетевые подключения и проверяем там наличие TAP-Windows Adapter.

Списибо тебе, о Человек! Я пол часа ипался с сервером, думал что косяк в конфигах. Оказалось, что у меня не корректно установился клиент, без TAP-а. Почему люди не пишут, в своих статьях, что после установки клиента должен появиться туннельный адаптер.

Пол дня колупания в интернете и поиска дров для этого адаптера, а в условиях удаленки это прям оч важнецки!

Спасибо за ссылку на драйвер. У меня win7 и при установке vpnmonster ставятся драйвера без цифровой подписи под семёрку, в результате программа не работала. Установка данных драйверов помогла.

Блин, спасибо! У меня техподдержка на работе на эту проблему выдала, что винду надо переустановить, иначе не заработает.

Спасибо тебе добрый человек. Только этот рецепт и помог. Странно, что в дистрибутив OpenVPN включили неподписанный драйвер (пробовал версии 3.1.3.713 и 2.4.9-I601-Win7).

Добрый вечер. Пытаюсь подключиться к впн, пишет ошибку WARNING: normally if you use –mssfix and/or –fragment, you should also set –tun-mtu 1500 (currently it is 1400)

В системе отсутствует TAP-Win32 Adapter. Добавить адаптер Пуск -> Все программы -> OpenVPN -> Utilities -> Add a new TAP virtual ethernet adapter.

Ошибка TLS синхронизации при использовании UDP-протокола для OpenVPN, может возникать в следствии плохого канала и в ряде других случаев.

Отключен виртуальный сетевой адаптер TAP-Win32 Adapter. Включить его можно в Сетевых подключениях (зайдите в Панель управления -> Сеть и Интернет -> Центр управления сетями и общим доступом -> Изменение параметров адаптера, или выполните команду ncpa.cpl)

Порядковый номер 4540 не найден в библиотеке DLL LIBEAY32

Это не ошибка. Это уведомление о том, что виртуальный адаптер занят каким-то процессом. А о том каким именно процессом он занят, может знать только пользователь данного ПК.

В диспетчер устройств\сетевые адаптеры выключить и заново включить TAP-Windows Adapter V9. Драйвер устройства после дисконекта блокирует клиент и не даёт создать подключение. После рестарта устройства можно без перезапуска клиента создать соединение. До найденного решения мне помогал только ребут системы. Теперь 15 сек и новое подключение готово.

There are no TAP-Windows adapters installed on this system

TAP-Windows adapter is a network driver through which VPN services can allow your computer to connect to the VPN servers. Unfortunately, when connecting to a VPN, you may get the error that says,

There are no TAP-Windows adapters installed on this system.

Similar to the All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use error, this is not a crucial error, and the message states precisely what is wrong with the connection.

There are no TAP-Windows adapters installed on this system

You can repair this TAP driver issue in three stages. The troubleshooting guide will list these stages and explain how to go about them.

1. Restart the TAP-Windows adapter.
2. Reinstall TAP-Windows drivers.
3. Create a new TAP-Windows adapter.

Below is the full guide. I advise that you follow the steps in the order in which I’ve listed them here.

1] Restart the TAP-Windows adapter

The recommended way to fix this TAP driver error is to restart the TAP adapter. To do this, follow the steps below:

Right-click on the network icon on your taskbar and click on Open Network & Internet settings.

In the network status window that opens, select Change adapter options.

Find the TAP adapter on this screen. They are named differently based on the VPNs, so you can only look out for an adapter or connection with TAP in its description.

Right-click on the TAP and hit the Disable option.

After disabling the network adapter, right-click on it again and re-name it.

2] Reinstall TAP-Windows drivers

If you restart the TAP network adapter and still receive the error, then you should go ahead and reinstall the TAP drivers. You can do this in several ways.

First, you may uninstall your VPN software and reinstall it again. Ensure that you restart your computer after uninstalling the VPN.

When the machine comes back on, install the VPN software, and the installation will most likely come with TAP drivers.

Press the Windows key + R combination, type devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box and hit ENTER.

In Device Manager, expand the Network adapters section and find the TAP-Windows adapter listed under it.

Right-click on the driver and choose the Uninstall device option.

Complete the uninstall process by following the on-screen instructions.

With the driver uninstalled, launch your VPN client, and it may ask you to install the missing TAP network drivers.

Some VPNs will only prompt you that the driver is missing. If this is the case, you need to download the driver off the internet or download the VPN client’s latest version.

Alternatively, you download the TAP-Windows driver software and install it on your computer manually. If you’re unsure where to download the drivers or even how to use them, this guide is a great starting point.

3] Create a new TAP-Windows adapter

Windows says that it couldn’t find TAP-Windows adapters on your system. The most straightforward method is to create a new TAP-Windows adapter.

Windows creates a new TAP-Windows adapter when you create a hyper-machine or connect to a VPN service.

Also, note that you can have only one TAP-Windows adapter active at a given time.

I have execute the tapctl.exe file, i can see the tap adapter on my computer, please check the attachment.
I can’t see the «TAP-Windows » program, so can’t create a tap-windows adapters manually, what i should do now?

it is an utility for creation TAP interfaces

This project does not include the openvpn GUI, what i should do if i want to build the openvpn GUI in this project? any wiki page or doc?
