I can’t find Bluetooth on my Lenovo T420 since I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10.

I no longer seem to have Bluetooth since I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my Lenovo T420 laptop. It worked fine before upgrading. I cannot find in in Device Manager and the old Fn + F5 doesn’t work either. The radio seems to be working, at least the «antenna» is lighted. I did download a Broadcom BCM 4324 Bluetooth driver at the suggestion of Lenovo, and it is downloaded and located in C:\Win\Drivers but it seems to stop there, assuming it is the correct driver to begin with. Any suggestions?

We understand from your post that you are unable to access Bluetooth option in your windows 10.

This issue might occur if there are no Bluetooth drivers installed or if they are corrupted. Follow these methods and check if it helps:

Method 1 :

I would also suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to troubleshoot the device:

a. Press Windows key to launch the Start screen.

b. Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes and click on Troubleshooting.

c. In the new window, click View all on the left pane.

d. In the list of options, click on Hardware and devices.

e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2:

I would also suggest you to start the Bluetooth service and set it to Automatic:

a. Press Windows key + R on the keyboard.

b. Type “Services.msc” without quotes and pressEnter.

c. Right click on Bluetooth support service and click onProperties.

d. Set the Startup type asAutomatic and then click Start under Service status.

Method 3:

Step 1 : Uninstall and Reinstall Bluetooth Driver.

Please follow the steps given here to uninstall and then reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

a) Press Windows key +X key when you are at desktop.
b) Select Device Manager.
c) Find and double-click Bluetooth driver from the left panel to uninstall
d) Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
e) Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click ok to remove the driver.
f) After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Step 2: Install the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer’s website.

You can logon to the manufacturer website and install the driver which is compatible with Windows 8.1

Lenovo ThinkPad T420: не работает Bluetooth

доброго времени, ребята.
беда.
в биосе все пучком, все включено.
аппаратно проверил, модуль блютуз на месте и не видно повреждений и окисей. все оборудование в отличном виде.
Проблема в том, что не устанавливается драйвер блютуз, так как пишет, что оборудование не обнаружено.
привключении ноута, индикатор загорается и гаснет.
вызов Ctrl+F5 не показывает, что вапще имеется блютуз.

что делать и как решить проблему?

В диспетчере устройств неизвестных устройств, или устройств без драйверов нету?

Thinkpad t420 bluetooth windows 10

I have been having an issues with windows 10. One major issue is that the bluetooth is neither detected or working. It works fully in Windows 7. I have run a Hardware scan and had one issue that doesn’t happen in Windows 7, It is an error in the PCI/PCIe test (result code: WMB008000-ULAVBI) I was thinking this could be apart of the bluetooth not showing up. Your help would be greatly appriciated.
