Если ваш компьютер Mac несовместим с последней версией macOS, можно перейти на более раннюю версию macOS, например: macOS Catalina, Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra или El Capitan.

OS X Yosemite: Системные требования и список совместимых устройств

Безусловно, в OS X Yosemite есть на что посмотреть: полностью новый графический интерфейс, тесная iOS-интеграция, масса новых функций и возможностей. Но все это будет бесполезно, если ваш Mac не позволит обновить OS X Mavericks до Yosemite. Выясним, «потянет» ли ваш Mac новую платформу от Apple.

Как определить модель компьютера Mac

Прежде всего, давайте определим конкретную модель вашего Mac, включая идентификатор года выпуска. Это просто.

    В основном меню OS X  выберите «Об этом Mac«.

В появившемся окне щелкните «Подробнее«.

Вверху основной части окна будет отображена запись вида «MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013«. По ней и можно оценить совместимость компьютера с OS X Yosemite.

Расшифруем информацию о Mac по записи «MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013»:

  • тип компьютера: MacBook Pro;
  • экран: Retina (высокого разрешения);
  • диагональ экрана: 15 дюймов (38,1 см по диагонали);
  • год выпуска: Конец 2013 года.

Для того, чтобы определить совместимость с анонсированной в рамках WWDC’14 OS X Yosemite этой информации более чем достаточно.

Оценка модели Mac на совместимость с OS X Yosemite

Теоретически, все Mac работающие на базе OS X 10.9 Mavericks поддерживают и OS X 10.10 Yosemite. На основании предварительных данных из авторитетного источника список совместимых с Yosemite устройств выглядит следующим образом:

  • iMac (Mid-2007 или новее)
  • MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 или новее)
  • MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 или новее), (15-inch, Mid / Late 2007 или новее), (17-inch, Late 2007 или новее)

Судя по всему, список совместимых устройств на момент публичного анонса (на момент публикации идет бета-тестирование) OS X 10.10 Yosemite не изменится, однако Apple славится своей непредсказуемостью и в список могут быть внесены изменения без одобрения общественности.

Как вы могли заметить, основным требованием к аппаратной начинке Mac для поддержки OS X 10.10 Yosemite является наличие 64-битного процессора, а это Intel Core 2 Duo или новее.

Конечно, в приведенном списке указаны минимальные требования к аппаратному содержимому Mac и мы не знаем насколько приятной будет работа в новой OS от Apple на таких Mac, и насколько качественными будут выглядеть визуальные эффекты без потери общей производительности системы. Об этом станет известно осенью нынешнего года после официального релиза OS X Yosemite. Если говорить в общем, чем новее компьютер, тем лучше, ждем выхода OS X из бета-тестирования.
