Мультиплатформенные почтовые клиенты — BlueMail и TypeApp

Наконец стал доступен почтовый клиент для Windows — BlueMail . Я, честно говоря, ждал его с нетерпением. Для тех, кто вообще не слышал о таком почтовом клиенте, вот тут я уже писал — Type Mail — лучший почтовый клиент для Андроид. Да, BlueMail почти копия Type или наоборот. Честно говоря, я не разбирался, что творится с этими двумя приложениями. Они как однояйцевые близнецы. Смотрите сами, у них даже страницы на сайтах называются одинаково Type in the News & Media и BlueMail in the News & Media. Короче, похоже что эти двое из ларца одинаковы с лица. Или почти.

И вот окно первоначальной настройки TypeApp:

Итак, вот две страницы двух приложений, где доступны клиенты для Android и iOS, Windows и macOS:

Для Windows стандартное окно BlueMail выглядит так:

Из плюсов отмечу, что:

• Аккаунты цепляются без всяких танцев с бубнами
• В отличии от клиента Thunderbird, на BlueMail не ругается гугловский аккаунт Gmail

Вот стандартные разрешения, которые спрашивают обе программы при подключении аккаунта Gmail:

Для почты Gmail вы можете посмотреть приложения, которые имеют доступ к вашему аккаунту здесь — https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

Для BlueMail это:

У приложения есть доступ к:

Gmail Чтение, создание и отправка писем, а также безвозвратное удаление всех сообщений в Gmail

Google Calendar Просмотр, изменение и безвозвратное удаление всех календарей, с которыми вы можете работать в Google Календаре, а также предоставление доступа к ним

Google Contacts Просмотр и скачивание ваших контактов. Основные сведения об аккаунте. Просмотр адреса электронной почты. Просмотр основной информации профиля

А для TypeApp доступ к календарю не требуется потому что у него нет функционала планировщика для работы с календарем :

Gmail Чтение, создание и отправка писем, а также безвозвратное удаление всех сообщений в Gmail

Google Contacts Просмотр и скачивание ваших контактов. Основные сведения об аккаунте. Просмотр адреса электронной почты. Просмотр основной информации профиля

С точки зрения безопасности меньше разрешений — меньше угроз. Кстати, Mozilla Thunderbird Email не запрашивает контактов и доступ к календарю. Но по другим соображениям Google считает этот клиент небезопасным и поэтому, если у вас закрыт доступ небезопасным приложениям к аккаунту здесь https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps , то
Mozilla Thunderbird не сможет отправить почту и будут возникать ошибки доступа к аккаунту.

Еще скажу, что на десктопной версии приложений не заметил календаря/планировщика. В мобильной версии BlueMail он есть.

В общем скажу, что приложения хорошие и мне нравятся. На мобильном уже давно живет BlueMail, а кто обоснуется на десктопе пока все равно, отличий не увидел.

Удаляю после двух лет использования

После обновления приложение стало полным д****мом. Теперь приложение каждый раз загружает все письма, даже если ты открывал приложение 5 минут назад. При этом, вне зависимости от типа учётной записи, обновления идут с большой задержкой. Push показывает новое письмо, а в папке его нет. То, ради чего ставил: конфиденциальность входа в приложение, теперь не работает ни по паролю ни по отпечатку. Я честно потратил неделю на переписку с поддержкой, которая несла ахинею, даже невнимательно читая, что я им пишу. Возможно, поменялась команда. В общем, терпеть это больше нет сил.

Технически почту поправьте.

Great App. INCREDIBLE support

All email clients should take notice, even the ones created by the phone manufacturers, yes Apple & Samsung I’m talking about you also. The feature set and ease of use is remarkable for a company that doesn’t generate revenues from ads in their app but only thru donations and word of mouth. It’s intuitive and makes setting up emails quick and easy. Marking emails for later is also a great feature.. Try it out and once you get used to the layout, emailing becomes second nature.

Your search has ended. Simply the best, and I tried them all. One of the very few apps that keeps getting better with every update. Black screen theme to save on your eyes & your battery. Works flawlessly. See all your emails accounts on one Unified email page. New update added the ability to create folders and rename them. Sent a message to customer service and got an immediate reply. Wish I could delete my pre-installed Android/Google Gmail app. Maybe Google should buy this app for «10 million dollars»

Fabulously great app

TypeApp is the one Android email app I could find that worked with all my accounts and has a unified inbox. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, tons of options for customization. Awesome.

Coming from many years using the iOS mail app, I was pleasantly suprised when discovering that there was a mail client for a life device that was almost as capable as a desktop app!

Just love this email all, have five different accounts setup all work great. Best email all out there and by far. Recommended wholeheartedly.

I have used quite a few email apps and so far this is by far the best. It is very organized and is used without a hitch (though that is true of most of them at first). I am happy with it.
