Volumouse — управляем звуком мышью

Изначально Volumouse создавалась для быстрого изменения уровня громкости звука при помощи колеса мыши, но со временем обзавелась множеством дополнительных опций. В текущей версии с её помощью можно изменять уровни громкости воспроизведения и записи звука, изменять прозрачность активного окна и яркость экрана, выполнять заданные горячие клавиши.

Изменение громкости возможно для отдельных устройств и только нужных каналов, с выбранным пользователем шагом и задержкой. Для большей наглядности Volumouse может показать горизонтальный или вертикальный индикатор, либо OSD-сообщение, которым разрешается присваивать нужные размеры, назначать позицию на экране, задавать другие характеристики.

Чтобы избежать случайного изменения громкости звука, разработчик Volumouse предусмотрел широкий выбор условий, при которых будет срабатывать программа. Это может быть нажатие одной из клавиш клавиатуры или их сочетания, наведение курсора на панель задач или наличие в фокусе медиа-плеера, например.

Распространяется Volumouse бесплатно, русский язык входит в число поддерживаемых. Утилита довольно давно не обновлялась, но в новейших версиях Windows 10 ведёт себя стабильно.

Программа позволяет определить набор правил для определения того, когда система будет рассматривать прокручивание колесика мыши как средство для изменения громкости звука. Known Issues

• On Windows Vista/7/2008 — If UAC is turned on, Volumouse cannot work with applications that you run as Administrator. If you want that Volumouse will be able to capture mouse events from application that you run as Administrator, you should also run Volumouse as Administrator.
• On 64-bit systems, you must use the 64-bit version of Volumouse.

Upgrading Volumouse from previous versions

Notice: When upgrading from verson 1.31 or earlier to this version, you’ll lose all your previous settings and we’ll have to reconfigure Volumouse again.

Installing/Removing Volumouse

In order to remove Volumouse from your system, follow the instructions below:

1. To ensure that Volumouse is not running in your system, Select ‘Exit Completely’ from the options dialog-box or from popup menu of the taskbar icon.
2. Delete the folder that you created during the installation process. If you failed to delete the Volumouse helper dll (vlmshlp.dll), wait a little time (one or two minutes) to allow this file to be released by the operating system, and then try again.
3. Optionally, delete Volumouse configuration from the Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NirSoft\Volumouse

Automatic Installation (With self-install executable)
In order to install Volumouse with self-install executable, follow the instructions below:

1. Download and run the Volumouse self-install executable.
2. Select the desired installation settings, and click ‘install’ to start installing Volumouse.
3. After installation is completed, run Volumouse from the your start-menu.

Основные возможности Volumouse

Бывают разные случаи: например, когда кто-то звонит по телефону, а у Вас запущена игра, громко играет музыка. Или забыли выключить музыку перед тем как включили спящий режим, ушли, а кто-то протирая стол разбудил компьютер, зацепив мышку. Да вообще, может Вам просто хочется выполнять меньше действий для того, чтоб добиться всего-то изменения громкости.
Нашлись люди, которые разработали специальную программу для регулировки громкости, которая решает все вышеперечисленные проблемы — “Volumouse”.
Изначально, идея (как и возможности) программы была очень проста — менять громкость вращением колёсика мышки. Даже не стали озадачиваться названием: “Volume” (громкость) + “mouse” (мышка).
Со временем функционал расширялся, теперь Volumouse предлагает гораздо больше возможностей и впечатляюще гибкую настройку.

Установка

Установка этого программного обеспечения довольно проста, особенно используя официальный установщик.
Есть 2 способа установить Volumouse:

Ручная установка: (Только для опытных пользователей!)

Чтобы вручную установить Volumouse, следуйте инструкции ниже:

1. Создайте новую папку для утилиты Volumouse.
2. Разархивируйте zip-файл (volumouse.zip для 32-битных, volumouse-x64.zip для x64) в новую папку.
3. При необходимости создайте ярлык для volumouse.exe на рабочем столе.
4. Запустите файл — volumouse.exe.

Чтобы удалить Volumouse, следуйте инструкциям ниже:

1. Чтобы удостовериться, что Volumouse полностью отключен, выберите «Выйти полностью» из диалогового окна параметров или всплывающего меню значка на панели задач.
2. Удалите папку, созданную вами во время процесса установки. Если DLL помощник Volumouse (vlmshlp.dll) не удаляется, подождите немного после отключения программы (одну-две минуты),чтоб операционная система перестала использовать файл, а затем повторите попытку удаления.
3. При необходимости удалите конфигурацию Volumouse из реестра
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\NirSoft\Volumouse

Автоматическая установка (с самостоятельной установкой исполняемого файла)

Для того, чтобы установить Volumouse используя самоустанавливающийся исполняемый файл, следуйте инструкциям ниже:

1. Загрузите и запустите исполняемый файл Volumouse для самостоятельной установки.
2. Выберите нужные параметры установки, нажмите «Установить» чтоб начать установку Volumouse.
3. После завершения установки запустите Volumouse.

Для того, чтобы удалить Volumouse, установленный через ZipInstaller:

1. Во-первых, убедитесь, что Volumouse отключён. Для этого выберите «Выход полностью» в диалоговом окне параметров или всплывающем меню значка панели задач. Подождите немного, перед тем как файд vlmshlp.dll полностью выгрузится.
2. Откройте «Установку и удаление программ», выберите Volumouse, нажмите “Удалить”.

Настройка “Volumouse”

Два самых распространенных варианта использования — изменение громкости вращением колесика мышки либо при зажатой клавише “Alt”, либо при наведении курсора мышки на панель задач.
Конечно, можно задать почти любые условия, доступны 6 строк многофункциональных настроек.
Давайте попробуем настроить.

1. Для начала запускаем программу.
2. В первом столбце (где написано “Use the wheel when:” — “Использовать колесо, когда:”) выбираем понравившуюся опцию, например, “The cursor is on screen edges” — “курсор находится в углу экрана”.
3. Если просто хотите менять громкость, то пропускайте следующие два столбца. Во втором можно посмотреть, чем еще может управлять Volumouse, а в третьем — выбрать какой именно канал регулировать (для многоканальных звуковых систем).
4. В столбце “Steps:” можно выбрать, с каким шагом будет меняться громкость при вращении колёсика. 1% громкости это примерно 150 единиц. Таким образом, чтоб каждый шаг прокручивания менял громкость на 10%, то нужно выбрать 150*10=1500 шагов.

Как видите, зная нужные инструменты, можно хорошо сэкономить — приобретая новую технику избегать переплат за функционал, который можно обеспечить бесплатными программами.
