To our knowledge, Fusion Delay is the only delay VST Plugin to use sonic “Acoustic Dispersion” effects. Acoustic dispersion is the phenomenon of a sound wave separating into its component frequencies as it passes through a medium.

Liquid Delay is a re-creation of a Modulated Delay effect found in high-end studios.

Modulated Delay is a delay effect where the stereo delay signal is subsequently modulated to create additional sonic interest (e.g., pitch fluctuation, frequency fluctuation, or volume fluctuation). In Liquid Delay, the stereo delay signal is processed with a flange effect and a filter. For added dynamics, the filter is connected to a programmable step Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO).

Liquid Delay allows musicians to experiment with the Haas effect and the Doppler effect (e.g., rotating speaker relies on these scientific principles). However, the Liquid Delay has its own little tricks up its sleeve due to how the signal chain is internally routed. 15. WatKat

WatKat is a digital clone of a Wem Watkins Custom Copicat tape echo unit. It sounds very lo-fi, noisy, irregular.

When you turn it off and leave the tape loaded, the tape bends in the proximity of the capstan, and this turns into a periodic pitch fall during echo playback; plus, it gets hot and the background hum gets worse in time… you should turn it off now and then; the tape is never completely erased, and the capstan motor flutters… and it gets worse if you touch it while it’s spinning; heads tend to get dirty very soon, in fact, you should clean them often. This is true for the actual hardware unit, and for the digital simulation as well!

Lagrange от Ursa DSP

Lagrange — уникальный стерео дилей, пользующийся гранулярными методами. Но он не из тех гранулярных дилеев, которые зацикливают кусочек сигнала в буфере задержки. Вместо этого, поток аудио обрабатывается без буфера по подобию гранулярных семплеров, то есть, прибор выбирает кусочки аудио из семпла и проигрывает их в определённом настраиваемом порядке. Весь этот процесс происходит в реальном времени, что в результате дает очень органичный и волшебно звучащий дилей. Freq Echo от Valhalla DSP

Freq Echo эмулирует поведение пленочных дилеев, и имеет простой, интуитивно понятный интерфейс. Управление в плагине очень простое: фильтры низких и высоких частот, темп, обратный сигнал и смещение частоты, что как раз и позволяет имитировать плавающее звучание оригинальных задержек.

HY-Delay 3 от HY-Plugins

HY-Delay 3 эмулирует старые дилэи из 80-х, такие как RDD-10 и RDD-20 от Boss. Эти олдскульные цифровые дилэи были 12-битными, что придавало их звучанию лоуфайности. Более того, каждый следующий повтор звука искажался ещё сильнее. TAL-DUB-II от Tal Software

TAL DUB-II это расширенная версия TAL-Dub-I с обновленным звуковым движком. Можно создать как абсолютно чистые задержки, так и с эффектом дисторшена. Что, в свою очередь, позволит добавить ретро-эффект искажения звука к задержанному сигналу. Дополнительно, есть возможность модулировать время задержки и частоты низкочастотного фильтра с помощью LFO. Низкочастотный резонансный 6 dB фильтр, обладающий аналоговым звуком и высокочастотный 3 db фильтр также являются компонентами TAL DUB-II. Различные настройки направления сигнала дают пользователю самые широкие возможности.
