Прогресс в сфере технологий вынуждает разработчиков компьютерных игр удивлять пользователей новыми возможностями и параметрами графики. В связи с этим многие игры отказываются от морально устаревшего интерфейса Open GL в пользу нового API от компании NVIDIA под названием Vulcan. Он отличается более высокой производительностью и лучшим качеством графики.

Vulcan API (Vulcan Runtime Libraries) — это набор библиотек, необходимый для работы API. Наличие программного обеспечения на компьютере позволяет выполнять графические команды в программах и играх, где используется данный движок. Поскольку одноименный интерфейс начал внедряться с 2016 года, Vulcan необходим для многих современных игр.

Набор библиотек VulcanRL устанавливается вместе с драйверами NVIDIA. Однако если у вас графические драйвера достаточно старых версий, софт придется загружать отдельно. Сделать это можно с нашего сайта. Программа инсталлируется в обычном режиме. Хотя интерфейс установщика недоступен на русском языке, это не вызовет проблем, поскольку мастер инсталляции не отличается от большинства других программ.

Драйвер AMD Radeon 19.6.2 Optional: поддержка новых API Vulkan и исправление ошибок

Разработчики исправили проблему с зависанием Crackdown 3 в системах на базе Radeon R7 370, устранили падения производительности при использовании беспроводных шлемов виртуальной реальности с графикой Radeon RX 400 и 500 и решили проблему с наложением метрик производительности при переключении Radeon Overlay в играх.

Последняя версия опционального драйвера Radeon Software Adrenalin 19.6.2 также получила поддержку новых API Vulkan:

• VK_EXT_host_query_reset.
• VK_EXT_full_screen_exclusive.
• VK_AMD_display_native_hdr.
• VK_EXT_separate_stencil_usage.
• VK_KHR_uniform_buffer_standard_layout.

Исправленные ошибки

• В некоторых графических продуктах Radeon RX 400 и Radeon RX 500 беспроводная виртуальная реальность могла испытывать падение производительности во многих играх.
• Оверлей метрика производительности могла не включаться или могла быть отключена при переключении оверлея во время игры.
• При выходе из некоторых игровых приложений, использующих API DirectX 12, когда подключено несколько дисплеев и в режиме дублирования, мог возникать сброс драйвера видеокарты (TDR).
• Средство Microsoft PIX может не работать, если графический процессор подключен с использованием технологии AMD XConnect .
• Crackdown 3 может испытывать зависание приложения или игры на графических продуктах серии Radeon R7 370.

Известные проблемы

• Потоковая передача из Radeon ReLive и загрузка видео и другого контента в Facebook в настоящее время недоступна.
• В ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 могут возникнуть проблемы с дискретным подключением к графическому процессору, когда устройства исчезают из диспетчера устройств во время простоя системы.
• Оверлей показателей производительности и показатели Radeon WattMan могут показывать неточные значения на AMD Radeon VII.
• ACER Swift 3 с процессором AMD Ryzen может испытывать проблемы нестабильности системы при обновлении до Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.2 с использованием выборочной чистой установки.
• Графический драйвер может не удаляться правильно при использовании опции быстрой деинсталляции на некоторых Ryzen APU.

Загрузка и установка драйвера

Для драйвера Adrenalin 2019 Edition версии 19.6.2 Optional доступны установочные файлы для 64-битных компьютеров и ноутбуков под управлением операционных систем Windows 7 и Windows 10. Также, была обновлена утилита AMD Driver Autodetect.

После установки драйвера, обязательно выполните перезагрузку системы. Если перезагрузка не начнется автоматически, то запустите ее принудительно, чтобы применить изменения в системе.

How-To Uninstall AMD Radeon Software:

— Start by opening the Control Panel
— For Windows 10/8.1, right-click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Context Menu
— For Windows 7, click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Start Menu
— In the Control Panel select Programs and Features
— Select AMD Install Manager and then click Uninstall/Change
— Check all items, and then click the Uninstall button.
— Note: If you had others versions of AMD drivers installed previously, you should get an additional prompt providing the options to remove All Versions or Current Version.
— Select All Versions to remove all AMD drivers and application components (recommended).
— Select Current Version will uninstall only the latest version of the drivers and its related components.
— The uninstall process will begin removing drivers and software components.
— Select Restart Now to complete the uninstallation process.
— To verify that the AMD Radeon Software has been removed from the system, return to the Program and Features list, and check that there are no AMD entries. If AMD specific entries are still listed, remove them using the above process.

How-To Install AMD Radeon Software:

— Ensure that any existing versions of AMD Radeon Software on the system have been uninstalled before proceeding with installing a new driver.
— Close all opened applications including anti-virus, firewall, remote-access, or webcam software before attempting the install process.
— Double-click the downloaded file and select Install to begin file extraction process.
— Note: It is recommended to use the default destination folder for installation.
— Select the desired components or keep default selection (recommended) and click Install.
— The drivers and software components will begin installing.
— Note: The screen will flicker whilst the AMD Radeon Software is being installed. If you have multiple displays, some of them may turn black for a few seconds.
— Once the drivers and software have been successfully installed, choose Restart Now
— Note: A system restart is required to complete the installation process.​

• Microsoft® PIX tool may fail when a GPU is connected using AMD XConnect™ Technology.
• Crackdown™3 may experience an application or game hang on Radeon R7 370 series graphics products.
