Попала ко мне вышеобозначенная звуковуха — EGO-SYS Wave Terminal 2496. Судя по виду 19хх лохматого года выпуска, но с позолоченными 5-ти мм разъемами на каждый канал отдельно. В инете нашел только спецификацию — а именно одновременная запись и воспроизвдение с частотой дискретизации до 96кГц и некоторое другое.
Собсна вопрос — как она по звучанию (может кто-то с ней сталкивался. ), стоит ли ее использовать чтоб музыку слушать?
вообще, конечно, понимаю что вопрос не корректно поставлен, девайс профессиональный, но я понять пытаюсь, что он из себя представляет.

Ну вот, через 4 месяца наконец подключил девайс.
Впечатления — ПОТРЯСАЮЩЕ. Я, конечно, не искушен в качестве воспроизводимой музыки, но по сравнению с моей встроенной — прекраснейший звук.
Точные, внятные, но не агрессивные верхушки, и сочный, густой бас. Очень высокая детализация звука.
Удивительно, что мой усилитель 78-го года выпуска не сдувается с таким источником.
ESI не единствернный производитель профессиональных карт. Конкретно с WT2496 стало можно в системах, поддерживающих wdm-драйвера и с последними версиями этих драйверов.
А усилку что, ему все равно, что усиливать, музыку или шумы с искажениями. : )

После некторого времени юзанья сабжа начали наблюдаться 2 весьма обидных глюка.
Глюк номер раз.
Когда поставились драйвера на карточку, в диспетчере появились 4 устройства, а именно:
WaveTerminal 2496 EWDM Controller by EGOSYS
WaveTerminal 2496 EWDM wave-1
WaveTerminal 2496 EWDM wave-2
WaveTerminal 2496 EWDM wave-3
Последние три устройства, отвечают за аналоговые выходы. В программах, в выборе девайса для вывода выбирает одна из трех Вэйвок.
Так вот трабла вот в чем:
Когда драйвера только поставились, выводит звук устройство 1. Т.е. если в Винампе указать его, то звук есть. Если указать другое звука нет. В микшере карты включены оба устройства. Периодически, почему-то рабочее устройство меняется с первого на второе, да меняется не просто так, а после перезагрузки, и выводится со 2-го устройства жуткая какя-то какофония. После перезагрзки либо опять звук идет с 1-го устройства, либо со 2-го, но без искажений, а через некоторое время опять перехоидт на 1-е устройство 
.
Глюк номер второй.
Периодически где-то че-то в моем звуковом тракте глюкает (предполагаю, что звуковая все-же) и как-будто включается эквалайзер и начинает давить по ушам самыми верхушками — тарелочками, дзыньками всякими. Через день все проходит, и все путем. Перезагрузка при это мглюке не помогает.
Что мжно сделать, чтоб такая фигня не происходила? Может, какие-нибудь драйвера можно найти неофициальные, или что-то еще?
