Windows 10 Low FPS in a Good Pc

So. The Pc is good, it should be able to run that kind of games in “High” Quality. I heard something about a Windows Update and something about Windows 10 that make the FPS go low. I saw people solving the issue with restoring the Windows to the one before the 10 with that update. But the problem here is that I can’t do that because when I bought this Pc it was already with this Windows 10 and the “problem”

The Drivers of Nvidia are up to date so that’s not the problem.

The game that I should be able to play in “High” quality with 60 FPS or even more. I only can play it with “Normal” or “Low” quality with 17 — 28 FPS. So no has sense and makes the game almost unplayable for the lag and I’m talking about the offline mode, just imagine the online.

Now take a look to the “Video Memory” is in the half of the bar.

This one is when the game starts.

So it can’t be possible So I’m 100% that the PC is not the problem. (Is for Gaming)

What version is installed in Settings > System > About? If less than Version 1903 then I would manually upgrade to the latest version 1903 by opening the Media Creation Tool from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m. , choose Download Tool Now, then open the tool and choose Upgrade This PC Now. This saves your files, apps and most settings in place, is the most stable method to change versions, brings your Updates current, resolves most problems.

If any problems report back the verbatim error and number, then continue with these steps for overcoming Version Upgrade problems: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki.

If the Version has problems I will work with you to try to resolve them. If the problems are intractable, you have ten days to roll it back in Recovery settings.

In addition I would Update the Display driver from the PC or Display adapter maker’s Support Downloads web page for your exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag — from the sticker on the PC.

While there check also for newer chipset, BIOS/UEFI firmware (very important), network, sound, USB3 and other drivers, comparing to the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu.

For Display issues one fix that is working is to Roll back or Uninstall the Driver on the Display Device > Driver tab, restart PC to reinstall driver.

You can also try older drivers in Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick.

Then you will know you’ve tried everything in addition to Windows Update drivers.

So it might be worth checking if there’s a driver update for the video card. You can update a driver manually or by using Device Manager.

1. To check for video card driver updates with Device Manager, press the Win key + X hotkey in Windows 10 or 8.1.
2. Select Device Manager to open the window shown directly below.
3. Double-click Display adapters to expand its device list.
4. Right-click the graphics card from the list and select the Update driver option to open the window shown below.
5. Select the Search automatically for updated driver software option on the window. Windows will automatically install a more update driver if the wizard detects anything.

Some prefer to manually download and install drivers. You’ll need a specific graphics card title keyword, and the card details included under Display adapters on the Device Manager window are usually sufficient.

Furthermore, you’ll also need details for whether your Windows system is 32 or 64-bit. The System Information window includes those details under System Summary.

You can download the updated drivers from graphics card manufacturer websites such as NVIDIA or Intel. For example, this is the NVIDIA driver page.

Most sites usually include search boxes to enter graphics card keywords, but the NVIDIA page has drop-down menus to select a video card and platform from.

Download and install a more update driver that matches your platform version. Restart Windows after updating the driver.
