Windows 10: MSN Explorer Has Stopped Working
Using Windows 10 on MSN Premium. Almost every time we try to use e-mail we get an error message stating «Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working . Looking For Solution» and then MSN shuts down. I have run the MSN Troubleshooter and that has not helped. Fix-it does not apply to Windows 10 yet.

Has MSN resolved this for anyone, can’t use mine at all. Window instantly opens saying «MSN has stopped working» and then the only option is to close.
is this problem going to be fixed every time i try to anything msn explorer stop working i payed for msn explorer do i get a refund this been going on awhile should get a nother network hope can find out soon if msn explorer going to work right

Problem still continuing here. I have to access OUTLOOK.COM via Internet Explorer which is working well.
Only explanation is «it must have been a big HOLIDAY WEEK for the MSN Support Group; no one working»!

I’ll offer what I can, but please treat my comments as hints about places to start because I had similar problems when I switched to WIN10 in September and my mind has glossed over with other WIN10 install problems since then and I don’t remember what the specific solution I found was.
1. One of the things MSN «tech support» advised me to do was direct the MSN Explorer to the MSN software download page. I didn’t have to do anything after I got there, but apparenty just getting there straightened out some setting in MSN Explorer and it began working again. You might Google that and see if you can find any thing more specific about this line of thinking.
2. After that, another thing I did was go back to the MSN software download page and install the updated MSN Explorer 11 (It’s also a bit nicer because it has tabbed browsing).
Sorry I couldn’t be more specific, but the above is the jist of the direction I went that solved my problem.

I would like to know some information.
Which browser do you use Microsoft Edge or internet explorer?
Do you get any error message or error code?
If you are using Internet explorer, I would suggest you run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.
Type «Troubleshooting» on the Start screen and click «Settings» and hit enter.
Click «View All» on the left hand side pane.
Click «Internet Explorer Performance» and run the troubleshooter.
I would also suggest you to run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)
System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It will scan your system files and to repair missing or corrupted system files in Windows. To run the SFC scan, refer to the Microsoft article below.

Have also tried the remedies, with no results. Please note the problem is with running MSN Explorer 11.x while using Windows 10. Not IE, not Edge. The problem of not being able to type in the body of the Message started on both my Surface Pro II and my desktop when I installed Windows 10.

Uninstalling and reinstalling MSN Explorer is the default solution — unfortunately it has never fixed a problem for me. I guess the question is «When will MSN Explorer 12 be released that actually works with Windows 10?»

As someone else asked — why are we paying for this. I have an AOL mail account that rarely if ever stops working, and I have NEVER had to uninstall and reinstall it (actually it is their webmail — solid as a rock, even if viewed as «obsolete»

I recently installed Windows 10 and use MSN Explorer Premium for my email. I resolved the issue of not being able to send emails but now when opening some emails I receive the mesaage MSN Explorer encountered a problem and has stopped working and will close. I have changed my email settings so that the «Display messages in plain text» box is unchecked yet I continue to encounter this problem. How can this issue be resolved?

I have EXACTLY the same problem. get the message the Explorer has encountered a problem and shuts down the email.
Microsoft knows there is a problem but has been useless as to a solution.
If you find the cure, PLEASE let me know. I have gone back to my old laptop because of this aggrevating situation.

После выбора пункта загрузить этот файл в дальнейшемпоявится диалоговое окно Сохранить как , в котором вы направите вам команду Сохранить файл на компьютере. 5. в поле имя файла выберите имя по умолчанию или введите новое имя и нажмите кнопку сохранить. 
Чтобы остановить загрузку сейчас, установите флажок рядом с именем файла и нажмите кнопку остановить.
В верхней части ленты MSN нажмите кнопку види выберите Диспетчер загрузки.
