The first time I saw this message, the power would not stay on. I repeatedly hit the on button and it would blink and then go off. This happened about 7 or 8 times. Then the last time is hit the power button it remained on and went directly into Start up Repair. I thought that maybe the power supply of my computer was defective.

I suggest you to deliberately crash your computer by unplugging the power supply during windows load screen 3 times, you suppose to see recovery screen where you can see options to login in safe mode; safe mode with networking or normal mode.

If this doesn’t work please follow below mentioned steps:

1. Turn on or restart your computer.
2. Hold down the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. If the computer makes a complaining noise, tap the F8 key repeatedly instead of holding it down.
3. If a Windows logo or “Windows starting” appears, wait until Windows loads. Then restart the computer and try pressing F8 again.
4. Once you are successful, a menu will appear with a number of boot options. Use an arrow key to navigate to “Safe Mode” and press the Enter key.

If you are able to login on your Windows please follow below steps:

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Enter “msconfig” (without quotes) in the box labeled Start search (Vista) or Search programs and files (Windows 7).

Здравствуйте! У меня есть проблема! мой компьютер работает под управлением Windows 7! Вчера у нас был сбой питания, и когда я включил компьютер и у меня появилось окно восстановления, я следовал инструкциям, но всегда выдоет одну и ту же ошибку «Восстановление при загрузке не может восстановить этот компьютер автоматически» .

Помогите пожалуйста !! и с чем может быть связана такая ерунда?

— запускаем командную строку, как указано в статье (или иным образом, бывают варианты в разных репаках виндовса);
— если мы не на системном диске, в командной строке переходим на диск С (где Windows), командой «C:», должно получиться:
C:\
— набираем последовательно
bootrec /RebuildBcd
bcdboot c:\windows

первая команда мне не помогла, вторая прошла успешно

— перезагружаем комп, у меня на этом этапе всё получилось (Symantec что-то сообщил и ещё раз перезагрузил комп);
— если высветится инфа о проблемном файле — читаем в статье, как удалить его остатки из реестра

/уверен, что крах произошел из-за СТАРФОРСОВСКОЙ игры Warface — именно после очередного её обновления она прописала свои «драйверы» и вошла в мёртвый конфликт с антивирусником (Symantec EP), система перезагрузилась и больше до рабочего стола не дошла, выдавая тот текст, что выше указал автор вопроса/ т. к. система не грузилась, то удалить правильно старфорс с компа не представлялось возможным, распространенные старфорсовские файлы в System32 отсутсвовали/

This afternoon, I was starting to use my computer. When I tried to bring it out of sleep mode, it wouldn’t respond. I had to power off the computer and restart it. From there the computer would take me to the Starting Windows section of the Windows 7 boot and then I would experience a black screen. When I restarted the computer again, I ran the Startup Repair and it couldn’t fix the problem. The problem signatures are listed below.

When I send the information to Microsoft I receive the message: «If you have recently attached a device to this computer, such as a camera or portable music player, remove it and restart your computer. If you continue to see this message, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.»

I haven’t had any new devices connected to the desktop but I removed all of the USB devices with the exception of the mouse and keyboard and still had the same results.

The root cause found on the startup repair comes back with «Startup Repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem.»

I tried the system restore as well and have run into the same problem. I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic and it came back okay. When I try to boot from the Windows 7 disk the startup repair runs into the same issue. I tried to call the technical support for the company I purchased the computer from but they are closed until Monday. Any ideas on where I can proceed from here or am I out of luck until Monday?
