Windows error: the operating system couldn’t be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors
Alright me start from the beginning and be as clear as possible.
recently my laptop had a rather tough fall, and after that my pc would never start up, so I was stupid and didn’t look up on how to fix this boot issue. So instead I formatted my laptop, then proceeded to download Windows 10 on a flash drive to install it to my computer (I was running Windows 10 before) so I encountered an issue of it saying my drive might fail, this was the drive that Windows is supposed to go on. The installation kept saying it failed as it reached the stage of copying files. So I went to the repair option, and attempted to use the bootees.exe command to try to fix any issues but none of the commands even worked. It kept saying it wasn’t recognized as a valid command even though precisely saw what I was typing was right. After that I rebooted, it came to a screen this time as I pressed the repair option and it was stuck there. I rebooted almost 20 times trying to get out of this screen but to no avail. I tried everything, removing the flash drive etc. after that I gave up and a few weeks passed, so I formatted the flash drive and tried to get the Windows 10 again but I had no way of downloading it without my friends laptop and he was away for months. After all of that I finally got the windows 10 again and all the problems stated before once again started. Either the fall damaged my hard drive or something else, I tried the repair oc option once again only this time I ran into a different problem, my screen is blue with the following on it:
«the operating system couldn’t be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors.»
Error code: 0xc000000f
«you’ll need to use recovery tools. If you don’t have any installation media (like a disk or usb device contact your pc administrator or pc/device manufacturer «
i tried everything i could could think of, but no matter what when I plug in the flash drive with Windows 10 this comes up and I just would like to know how to get past it so I can access command prompt and attempt to fix my laptop. If I have to download Windows again just to get past this I’ll be frustrated. There are options saying «press enter to try again»
«press F8 for startup settings» but both bring me back to the same screen
