How To Fix Windows Boot Manager Fail – 0xc000035a Error
Error state 0xc000035a, tries to load a 64-bit application, but this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode. This error can occur with visualization products such as VMware Product or a virtual product when installing a 64-bit application. There’s nothing to worry about about. It all depends on your hardware configuration. See the figure below for a true picture of the problem.
If you are sure that your computer’s processor supports the virtualization function, simply enable it in your computer’s BIOS. You can enter the BIOS during the Power-On Self-Test (POST) when you start/restart your computer and there are different keys based on Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, IBM etc.
- For Dell, press F2.
- For Acer, press F2.
- For HP Press F10
You must enable VT-x/AMD-V and possibly nested pagination in your virtual machine configuration.

- Right-click on the virtual machine.
- Go to the System section.
- Click on the Acceleration tab.

After activating it in VirtualBox, you should now be able to start Windows Server 2008 if your operating system and CPU configuration are correct.
Check the BIOS
Open Bios and make sure that vt-x is enabled.
If this was not the case, you must delete the VM in the virtual box and create a new one……… You now see an option for Windows 7 and Windows 7 (64-bit).
After deleting and rebuilding the VM, you can browse it. Changing the parameters of the existing VM did not seem to meet the desired objective.

Reformatting and recovery
1. Insert the Windows system repair disk into the computer’s floppy disk drive. Restart the computer.
2. press any key at the prompt. Click Next to open the Install Windows page. Select your language and other settings, then click on Next.
3. click on “I accept the terms of the license”, then on “Next”.
4. click on Custom Options and Player Options (Advanced). Click on the hard disk you want to format, then click Format. The formatting time depends on the size of the hard disk. When the process is complete, Windows stops the installation on your computer.

Windows failed to start 0xc000035a

Пытаюсь установить Windows Server 2008 Datacenter x64 в vmware 6.5.0 build 118166, во время загрузки выскакивает ошибка 0xc000035a
Все на скрине.
P.S. Прошу сильно не судить, просто не уверен что в этом разделе)
