From your issue description, I understand that you are unable to use the keyboard normally. Please correct me if I have misunderstood the issue.
Before we proceed with troubleshooting, I need to ask few questions.
- Did you set any macros (a program to create Shortcut key to perform function)?
- Have you made any recent hardware or software changes to the computer prior to this issue?
- Is this a desktop computer or laptop?
- What is the make and model number of the computer and keyboard?
Try the methods and check after each method:
Method 1: Check the status of the issue using “Onscreen Keyboard”:
Method 2: Disable “Sticky Keys” feature if it is turned on:
a) Click the «Start» menu and then click «Control Panel.»
b) Click «Ease of Access Center» from within the Control Panel window.
c) Click «Make The Keyboard Easier To Use» from within the Ease of Access Center window.
d) Remove the check-mark beside «Turn On Sticky Keys» to prevent sticky keys from being accidentally turned on.
e) Click «Apply» to save your changes and then click «OK» to close the window.
