Установка:
1. Загрузите архив Windows 7 Transformation Pack for Ubuntu и распакуйте его. В результате на диске должна появиться директория Windows7 с набором объектов, изображённых на скриншоте (3).
2. Прикручиваем это хозяйство (за исключением ненужного апплета DockBar) к интерфейсу Ubuntu. Тут важно придерживаться определённых действий, так как в противном случае ничего не получится.
3. Открываем консоль и вводим в ней sudo apt-get install compiz emerald screenlets для инсталляции перечисленных в командной строке компонентов.
4. Через меню «System -> Preferences» запускаем декоратор окон Emerald и посредством клавиши Import подключаем тему Win7.emerald. После этого наживаем Alt+F2 и фиксируем изменения командой emerald — replace.
5. Щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши по рабочему столу, в контекстном меню выбираем Change Desktop Background, затем в открывшемся окне следуем на вкладку Theme и посредством клавиши Install сначала устанавливаем тему Win7.Basic.02[Tema GTK].tar.gz, а затем Windows 7 [Iconos Tema].tar.gz и Win7 Aero [Tema Cursor].tar.gz.
6. Проходим по ссылкам «Система -> Администрирование -> Окно входа в систему -> Локальный вход» и подключаем файл Win7 [GDM Theme].tar.gz.
7. Набираем в консоли gksudo nautilus, затем при помощи открывшегося менеджера в папке /usr/share/sounds создаем директорию Windows7, распаковываем в неё содержимое архива Win7 [Tema Sonidos].tar.gz и далее в настройках звука выбираем соответствующую тему. Удивляться названию упоминаемых нами файлов не стоит: всё дело в том, что к созданию (точнее — сборке) пакета Windows 7 Transformation Pack for Ubuntu приложил руку Игнасио Родригес, энтузиаст из солнечной Испании. Дай бог ему здоровья и долгих лет жизни.
8. Снова открываем терминал, посредством инструкций ls и cd переходим в директорию в директорию gnomenu и скармливаем интерпретатору команду sudo make install.
9. Щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши по верхней панели задач Ubuntu и избавляемся от неё. После этого переключаемся на нижнюю панель задач, удаляем из неё все элементы и делаем её высоту равной 40 пикселям.
10. Добавляем в нижнюю панель задач меню gnomenu и в окне настроек инсталлируем новые значки, схожую с Windows 7 тему и прочие компоненты, которые хранятся в папке gnomenu.
11. Конфигурируем панель задач в соответствии со своими предпочтениями: добавляем значки часто используемых приложений, настраиваем системную панель, сдвигаем кнопку «Пуск» влево и так далее. В завершение делаем последний взмах кистью и в параметрах панели и рабочего стола выставляем подходящие фоновые картинки, из числа тех, что представлены в папке Win7 [Imagenes].
12. Посредством установленного на первом шаге инструмента Screenlets настраиваем виджеты и выносим их на рабочий стол.
13. Руководствуясь нашими советами и расширением Vista-aero, делаем Firefox максимально похожим на браузер Internet Explorer 8.0.
14. Проверяем, все ли операции выполнены правильно, включаем трёхмерные эффекты Compiz Fusion и наслаждаемся полученным результатом. В нашем случае интерфейс «Убунты» преобразился.
