Перед началом работ убедитесь что ваш планшет / Android-устройство заряжено на 100%.

После извлечения и перед подключением устройства к компьютеру запустите файл «LiveSuitPack_1.11.exe» из папки Livesuit. Это должно установить новое устройство в вашей системе (VID_1f3a_PID_efe8). Это устройство может отображаться с восклицательным знаком в диспетчере устройств Windows, это не имеет значения и может быть проигнорировано. Теперь измените загруженное вами имя прошивки (файл .img), чтобы в имени файла не было китайских или иностранных символов.

Не подключая устройство к компьютеру, запустите «LiveSuit.exe» из папки Livesuit. Вы должны получить заявку, как на картинке выше. Вам будет задан вопрос, хотите ли вы пройти через процесс, выберите нет.
Нажмите на крайний левый значок (куб), найдите загруженный файл прошивки и выберите его.

Выключите устройство полностью. Устройство должно быть выключено на протяжении всего следующего процесса. Удерживайте кнопку питания в течение десяти или пятнадцати секунд, если вы не уверены, просто убедитесь, что она выключена. Заряжен, но выключен. Подключите USB-кабель к устройству и удерживайте нажатой кнопку громкости +, удерживая кнопку нажатой.

Подключите другой конец USB-кабеля к вашему компьютеру (держите нажатой кнопку громкости + это неудобно, но надо)

Используя свою третью руку :-), сразу после подсоединения кабеля и, удерживая нажатой кнопку регулировки громкости +, начните многократно нажимать кнопку питания планшета (достаточно приблизительно 1 нажатия в секунду в течение 10 секунд). Эта процедура переводит планшет в режим обновления.

Через несколько секунд на вашем ПК появится окно с вопросом, хотите ли вы выполнить принудительное обновление прошивки. Вы уже можете отпустить кнопку громкость + . Выберите да. Вас спросят, уверены ли вы. Выберите да.

Обновление начнется и займет около 3 минут. Во время процесса вы увидите индикатор выполнения% и получите диалоговое окно с надписью ОК, когда это будет сделано. Это нелинейный индикатор выполнения, поэтому, хотя он иногда застревает, не паникуйте.

Включите планшет, и у вас будет новая прошивка.

Download Windows Live Essentials Suite Offline Standalone Installer

Normally, to install Microsoft Windows Live on your computer, you have to download a single wlsetup-web.exe file which will download and install all the applications from a Microsoft server online. What if you have a bad or slow internet connections, or need to install for a multiple computers, definitely this will make you scratched your head. Even worse if the computer was not designed to have an internet access.

There is however a solution availabled where you only need to download the offline standalone setup file once and can use it again on additional computers. wlsetup-all.exe has a size of 134 Megabytes and contains all programs that can be installed.

Before we proceed to the download procedure, here is what included in the wlsetup-all.exe offline installer:

• Windows Live Messenger
• Windows Live Mail
• Windows Live Photo Gallery
• Windows Live Movie Maker
• Windows Live Toolbar
• Windows Live Writer
• Windows Live Family Safety
• Microsoft Office Live Add-in
• Microsoft Silverlight

Following is a tricks to download the offline standalone installer (wlsetup-all.exe) from the official Windows Live website:

1. Go to: http://download.live.com
2. Click on the ‘ Download ‘ button.
3. Once the download begin, the button will changed into ‘ Try again ‘ button. Now, click cancel to canceled the download (we don’t need this file, it’s for wlsetup-web.exe and it’s only 1 Megabyte of size).
4. Then, click on the ‘ Try Again ‘ button and this time the download file was for wlsetup-all.exe which is the offline standalone installer.

Also you can copy and paste below url into your web browser or Download Manager to directly download wlsetup-all.exe:

Run the downloaded wlsetup-all.exe file and tick to choose which applications you would like to install.

Please take note that some extra related applications will be installed along with the main applications that you’ve choose, those are for your chosen applications to functioning and it will only install if your computer does not installed it yet.

Windows Live Essentials supports:

Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (32-bit edition only), Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit editions), Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit editions), or Windows Server 2008.

Get Windows Essentials Offline Installer Before the End of Support Date

The Windows Essentials 2012 suite is about to reach its end of support and wouldn’t be available for download from Microsoft’s servers after January 10 2017. The Windows Essentials suite includes Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Windows Live Writer, Windows Live Mail, and OneDrive.

Winbeta blog reports that Microsoft would be porting Windows Movie Maker as modern or Universal app and make it available through Windows Store. But if you’re fond of the classic desktop version of the app or the entire Windows (Live) Essentials software suite, it’s high time to download its offline installer locally before it becomes unavailable.

Как зарегистрироваться в программе?

Программа является бесплатной, но вводить регистрационные данные все-таки придется. Для получения доступа к функционалу достаточно зарегистрировать учетную запись в системе Live ID. У пользователей Windows 8 и 10 по умолчанию уже имеется учетная запись для входа в программу.

Это ПО можно успешно использовать и без регистрации. Но зарегистрировавшись, предоставляется дополнительный доступ к мессенджеру, почтовой переписке, облачному хранилищу. Регистрационные данные также можно использовать в игровом сервисе и для доступа к официальному офисному пакету. Пользователи Windows 7 должны пройти эту процедуру по следующей инструкции:

• посетить страничку login.live.com;
• ввести регистрационные данные;
• внести свой номер телефона;
• в конце ввести капчу и принять условия использования.

Инструменты Windows Live

В этот пакет входит ряд бесплатных инструментов, которые облегчают переписку, создание текста, редактирование видео. Программа также соединяет ПК с облачным хранилищем, чтобы дать доступ к документам из любой точки мира. Рядовому пользователю все эти утилиты будут полезны, если нет особой нужды в профессиональных программах.

Установка windows live – простые шаги

Обычному юзеру полный состав пакета редко нужен – при инсталляции его на свой компьютер, необходимо проследить за тем, чтобы были выбраны только важные компоненты. В большинстве случаев это Киностудия и Фотоальбом. Если возникнет желание – выбирайте весь список, иначе лишние составляющие будут зря светиться в меню «Пуск» и занимать место на жестком диске.

За что пользователи выбирают Windows Live?

Hello everybody, Please sorry before. I know this is just an «old and late news», but otherwise i still consider about some similar/previous threads on WinMatrix that have still had outdated (older) versions and/or incompleted (less) download links of all Windows Live apps etc. . Again, please sorry but as a WinMatrixian too, now please let me reupload all Windows Live 2008 offline installers here. I hope they are useful to other WinMatrixians and people who may still need them here. Anyway, good luck!

PS: You don’t need Windows Live Installer etc anymore (Lol instead, MS should change the current name to «downloader»), especially to people who still have slow internet connection (Dial-Up) or want to make backup of installers etc. Also please always update your Windows OS (e.g. Windows Update, auto-update, or by using latest AutoPatcher) in order to make them always «fresh» as well, anytime, anyday.

( PS: If you find some download pages about Windows Live 2008 «installers» on MS such as «Windows Live Mail 2008″, Windows Live PhotoGallery 2008» etc, they are just same downloaders (absolutely need internet connection) rather than offline installers that i mean here. (just look at their size: only 2,3 Mb for all? lol ))

Note: If you have already installed Windows Live Installer before, you can also get/find offline MSI installer on %Program Files%\Common Files\Windows Live\ or typical value : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows Live\ if the default drive C:.
Note: The path maybe different, depending on Windows Live versions but it will still always be on %Program Files%\Common Files\ or %Program Files%\Common Files\Windows Live\ as above.
You can still always recognize them by looking their names/tooltip/metadata etc. In another case you can also search all files with .msi extension on the current directory by using Search Companion (Xp)/Windows Seach (Vista) then sort them.
As said above, you can also do the same way for «all/other versions», including future/full versions finally to get their offline installers as well.

However, i personally still prefer full version (previous ones, still Wave 2 here now) than beta (even newer) for stability and reliability reasons etc on my main PC (legacy), Otherwise as a beta tester too i have also installed the beta apps on my another machine that just for the «experiment» lol .
