Подключить зрительные образы Windows Media Player

Стояла у меня когда-то ХР SP1, и там в WMP была подгруппа образов «цветомузыка», включавшая такие красоты, как «Горячее распыление», «Ласковый огонь» и др. Ласковый огонь выглядит так:

Файлик с образами, в виде *.dll я тогда предусмотрительно сохранил.

Потом был SP2. Там в плеере «цветомузыки» уже не оказалось, но нарыл я там пункт «подключить зрительные образы», подсунул эту dll-ку, нужные образы появились.

SP3. Подключение зрительных образов, как в SP2, уже не помогло — просто не было предложения выбрать файл с образами. Нагуглил, как регистрировать dll — через команду regsvr32. Получилось, образы появились.

Теперь Windows 7, да ещё х64. Та самая dll-ка не регистрируется через эту команду (ну а чо хотел, версия ОС-то другая). С использованием regsvr32.exe из папки syswow64 — тоже не канает:

Господа знатоки, внимание, вопрос: можно ли в W7 х64 всё же засунуть эти зрительные образы, а если нет, то где взять эту «цветомузыку» (интересует, собсно, только «горячее распыление») для этой ОС?

Там момент есть такой:

Open your Command Prompt and type: cd desktop and press enter. Then type expand wmpvis.dl_ wmpvis.dll and press enter. This will expand and decompress the file to make it usable.

Она уже распакована, уже в виде *.dll. НЕ *.DL_, как в папке i386 в дистре.

Кстати, попробовал точно по алгоритму с этого сайта:

«For Windows Vista/7 64-Bit

— Open the Start Menu and type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search box.

— In the search results, right-click on cmd and select Run as Administrator.

— In the Command Prompt, type cd \windows\syswow64 and hit enter.

— Then type Regsvr32 “C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\wmpvis.dll”

Библиотека зарегистрировалась, но получилось через жопу — если запускать wmp из папки Program Files (x86), в нём открыть песню, то нужный образ из раздела «цветомузыка» выбрать можно. Но если в проводнике выбрать у файла песни «открыть с помощью», выбрать wmp, лежащий в Program Files (x86), то раздела «цветомузыка» там вообще не будет. WTF? Хотелось бы, чтобы запустив музыку из проводника, увидеть WMP с заранее выбранным нужным зрительным образом

Визуальные (зрительные) образы для Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player проигрываем практически все форматы медиафалов, видео, музыку и тому подобное. Поэтому, какими бы плеерами мы не пользовались, в «экстремальной» ситуации бросаемся к старому доброму «ослику», созданному в лабораториях компании Windows.

Проигрывая музыку в этом плеере можно включить красивые эффекты, зрительные образы, визуальные образы плеера, которые выводятся на монитор, дисплей или даже большой экран и значительно оживляют музыку своим картинками, рисунками, графиками, спектрами и еще кучей визуальных «игрушек».

В стандартный набор зрительных образов Windows Media Player входит несколько групп с тремя десятками визуальных эффектов. Включаются они кликом на плеере и выбором меню «Зрительные образы».

В коллекции представлены очень красивые дополнительные визуальные образы для медиапроигрывателя Windows, бесплатные и условно-бесплатные, которыми можно пользоваться некоторое время (триал).

Любой из 18-ти зрительных образов для музыкального плеера можно скачать по этой ссылке. Файлы в архивах, которые надо распаковать, а затем запустить, как обычную программу. После этого в меню плеера «Зрительные образы» появятся дополнительные пункты с новыми эффектами.

Ice Crystals, a preset from the visualization Musical Colors.

Musical Colors is a visualization of twenty-one presets created by Averett & Microsoft. It is one of the oldest visualizations on Windows Media Player, and the visualization first appeared in Windows Media Player 7. There are two different versions to this visualization.

Musical Colors also has a large collection of «sister» visualizations in the Musical Colors Family. Shockingly, later on starting with the Windows Media Player 9 and 10 Series, Musical Colors had disappeared. This occurred because It had certain issues with certain video cards. Fortunately, it can be reinstalled by following these steps below.

Musical Colors File and Installation

Windows Media Player Visualizations are made by DLL files. The filename for Musical Colors, «wmpvis», is known as «wmpvis.dll». Find this file in [DllDump.com[1]] and copy that to «C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player» Directory. If you have a 64 bit version of Windows, copy «wmpvis.dll» into «C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\».

For Windows XP

If you have Windows Media Player 9 Series or Windows Media Player 10 or below, Run «Windows Media Player». In your menu bar, click tools\options. In your options, those tabs will show up. Click Plug-Ins\Visualizations then you see visualizations, click add then, Navigate to your «wmpvis.dll» file. Click it and its listed!

For Windows Media Player 11 on XP and Windows Vista

If you have Windows Media Player 11, then you need to open «wmpvis.dll» with «Microsoft (C) Register Server\regsvr32.exe or you can just run regsvr32 «C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpvis.dll».

For Windows Media Player 12, for Windows 7, 8, 10 or 64 Bit

Open «wmpvis.dll» in «Register Server» in Command Prompt Administrator mode. Once that has opened up, type in «C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpvis.dll» Also, view the previous information above and use quotes.

After that, you will see this message as shown below:

«DllRegisterServer in wmpvis.dll succeeded.»

Musical Colors Versions

The difference between the two versions is that version 7.0.0.1440 has a preset known as «WinMe 3D», and additionally, that version was bundled with «Windows ME». On the other hand, version 8.0.0.4487 was bundled with «Windows XP». In version 7.0.0.1440, there was an unsupported preset named «Ice Crystals». «Ice Crystals» was one of the 3D presets for version 8.0.0.4487, and the preset «WinMe 3D» was unsupported for version 8.0.0.4487. «WinMe 3D» displays colors of blue, light blue, green, yellow, and orange, and «Ice Crystals» displays shades of only light blue.

Windows Media Player: Управление зрительными образами

Зрительные образы — это цвета, формы и узоры, движущиеся в такт музыке при воспроизведении в проигрывателе Windows Media . В режиме «Проигрывается» ( у меня, например, именно так, но бывает режим «Текущий список воспроизведения») можно просматривать различные зрительные образы — вспышки цвета и геометрических фигур, которые меняются с ритмом воспроизведения музыки. Зрительные образы сгруппированы в коллекции на основе определенных тем, например, «Алхимия» или «Спектр и график». Проигрыватель содержит много зрительных образов, однако можно загрузить дополнительные зрительные образы с официального сайта Windows Media .

В ролике рассказывается, как управлять изображением на экране (образами) во время проигрывания.

Однако, у меня в меню Вид проигрывателя Windows Media Player отсутствует пункт Зрительные образы (уж не знаю, почему :о(.

Однако Зрительными образами можно управлять и несколько другим способом.

1. Нажмите кнопку Пуск, выберите Все программы и затем выберите проигрыватель Windows Media Player.

Если проигрыватель открыт и находится в режиме Библиотеки, нажмите на вкладку «Проигрывается» ( или кнопку Переключиться к текущему списку воспроизведения , расположенную в правом нижнем углу проигрывателя).

В выпадающем меню нажимаем на пункт Зрительные образы — в открывшемся окне можно посмотреть коллекцию образов, установленную по умолчанию — нажимаем. например, «Алхимия» — Случайный выбор.

Теперь при воспроизведении музыки в проигрывателе она будет сопровождаться зрительными образами из коллекции «Алхимия»

Например, коллекция «Батарея» — образы «Клубничный коктейль»(1), «Изумруд»(2), «Золотой водоворот»(3), «Пушистая звезда»(4) и т.п.

In windows XP, using wmp 9 or 10, i could set the full screen resolution for the most visualizations, including Battery pack. In Vista, and in wmp 11, the settings are still there, but only the «offscreen buffer size» dialog is working — whatever i set it a full screen size, it does not change when switching to full screen — the resolution remains the same low, max. 512×384 (which looks extremaly pixelized and ugly).

I expect an explanation from Microsoft employee or forum administratorm to either explain me how to i get my visualizations (not mine — the Microsoft OWN visualizations) working as they should, or if this is not possible, admit that Microsoft has made a complete ____ with this part of wmp 11.

Hi,
In Media player you dont have the option to change the resolution settings.
However you may try to change the pixel setting and verify if it changes the resolution.
To change the display ratio in Windows Media player follow the steps below:
1. Open Windows Media Player.
2. Press Alt key on the keyboard and click on Tools and click on Options.
3. Click on Devices tab and select Display in the list and click on Properties tab.
4. Change the Pixel aspect ratio you desire to use for the best view on your widescreen.
5. Click on Apply and Ok.

Restart the computer for changes to take effect and try to view the downloaded video to verify if it’s working fine.

What im telling is, that there is settings tab for changing resolution for the battery visualization (which is MS very own visualization that comes with wmp 11 and 12) — tools — plug-ins — options — battery — properties — full screen settings. But the point is that they do not work. They seem to be an empty option that does nothing. But if they shouldnt work then why are they there? If that is a bug, then Microsoft should fix it.
The same goes for WMP 12 on Windows 7 as well.

I remember this really making me angry many years ago. I believe the problem is how the newer versions of WMP handle going to full-screen. The older versions would take complete control of the screen and even change the resolution of the monitor to the specified one in Battery’s settings. Nowadays, the player appears to use an overlay and simply stretches the currently playing visualization to fill the screen. I would love a way around this, as Strawberryaid is my all-time favorite visualization and is absolutely beautiful at higher resolutions.

I saw you questions and frustrations so I wanted to make sure everyone is seeking answers at the correct locations.

First off, the only people here that are actually Microsoft employees are the ones you see with the word MICROSOFT in Blue blocked letters under their names. This is a community of Windows users trying to help each other with basic issues.

So no, there is usually no one from WMP Dev team floating around in here, however, allow me to point you guys to sites that WILL have more specific technical and developmental knowledge of WMP.

The first is the Windows Experts Community. Developers do actually check that forum and reply and help there on complex issues.

Next would be the TechNet IT PRO forums. As the name implies, that is the place professionals go to answer/ask questions.

If you are a developer, the MSDN forum can provide insights to developing applications and tools. But I don’t think that one applies here.

Also, don’t forget you can still get in touch with Actual MS tech support reps:
