Windows phone mms settings

Итак пошаговый гайд настройки mms на wp8.
Настраивал на Nokia Lumia 620.
Поехали:
1.Меню -> Настройки -> Точка доступа
2.Жмём кнопку добавить ( в левом нижнем углу )
3.Заполняем поля :
-Имя подключения:
Mts
Далее меню с заполнением называется «Интернет APN»:
-Имя точки доступа:
mts-internet

-Адрес прокси:
Оставляем пустым

-Порт прокси:
Оставляем пустым

На этом настройка «Интернет APN» закончена, она отвечает за интернет через провайдера.
Теперь переходим к следующему меню «MMS APN» непосредственно отвечающему за MMS:

-Имя точки доступа MMS:
mts-mms

Теперь жмём птичку для сохранения точки доступа, активируем созданную точку, перезагружаем аппарат — готово.
Надеюсь помог многим, ибо сам в интернете ничего не нашёл, провайдер не помог, пришлось всё додумывать самому.

Толково написано, но мне не помогло, к сожалению. Может я совсем тупой или провайдер ещё тупее, но к интернету так и не подключился. Провайдер Билайн (Киевстар) нифига не знает. Сделал всё точно по инструкции. Перепроверил несколько раз. Создал даже две точки доступа с параметрами Билайн и Киевстара. Передача данных разрешена.
все сделал по инструкциям оператора. Может что-нибудь не учел?
Билайн:
Имя подключения: Beeline Internet
Имя точки доступа: internet.beeline.ua
Тип сети : IPv4

И для Киевстар:
Имя подключения Kyivstar Internet
Имя точки доступа: www.ab.kyivstar.net
тип сети: IPv4

для MMS тоже сделал всё по инструкции.
Прошу помощи и совета.

Обязательно должна быть включена передача данных в сети.

Настройка MMS на Windows Phone обычно интересует пользователей, которые не так давно приобрели устройство, работающее на базе данной операционной системы.

На первый взгляд может показаться, что самостоятельно настроить эту функцию на телефоне непросто, однако всё гораздо легче, чем кажется. Изучение стандартных настроек устройства пользователем вряд ли принесёт желаемые результаты.

Как быть в данном случае? Для этого следует воспользоваться приложением Marketplace.

Что такое Marketplace

Для начала следует разобраться в том, что же такое Marketplace.

• По сути, это приложение, представляющее собой своеобразный виртуальный магазин, где можно найти множество игр и развлекательных программ. Некоторые из них бесплатные. Другие можно приобрести за определённую плату, а перед тем – протестировать.
• Покупки в Marketplace можно делать как через мобильное устройство, так и с ПК через Интернет. Кроме игр и программ, пользователь сможет найти видео и музыку.
• Использование приложения с компьютера практично одновременным отображением нескольких программ. Тем не менее, пользоваться Marketplace с телефона не менее удобно.
• Для того чтобы MMS-сообщения начали работать, следует зайти в Marketplace с мобильного устройства и скачать приложение под названием «Настройка сети».
• Если телефон работает на базе Windows Phone 8, функция MMS должна настроиться в автоматическом режиме и сразу после того, как пользователь вставит SIM-карту. Однако если этого не происходит, потребуется настроить MMS своими силами.

Setup Guide for AT&T APN Settings Windows Phone & MMS Settings

Here I’m going to share with you the AT&T APN Configuration you need to provide to your windows phones. AT&T 4G LTE APN settings for Nokia Lumia and AT&T 4G LTE APN settings for HTC are shared here.

AT&T APN Settings for Windows Phones – Nokia Lumia, HTC

Here are the steps to follow.

1. Press arrow right to access the main menu.
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Mobile Network.
4. Press Add APN.
5. Access point name: wap.cingular
6. You just have to provide that APN name and leave the rest of the fields (username and password) blank.

AT&T MMS Settings for Windows Phones

1. Press arrow right to access the main menu.
2. Press Settings.
3. Press Mobile Network.
4. Press Add APN.
5. Type the following details:
   • MMS APN: wap.cingular
   • Proxy address : proxy.mobile.att.net
   • Proxy port: 80
   • Username : blank
   • Password : blank
   • MMSC address : http://mmsc.cingular.com
6. Save the new APN, After making these settings go to access point main screen and set the newly added access points as active.

Yes I am having trouble trying to find the apn on my at&t phone. My phone is a AT&T 3G phone. It is not a touch phone or android. It has keys and buttons you have to use. And I can not get my picture txt messaging to work or the internet or nothing like that. I need help with this. It says is should do it automatically and it is not. Can someone please help me.

Thank you for APN & MMS settings Nokia Lumia 1320 Tracfone. The APN & MMS setting was non-functioning since activation and a picture could be sent. Several APN & MMS setting were tried as per various website recommendations along with chat with Tracfone which were all unsuccessful. Again, Thank you for giving settings.

I have a G3s how can this work for that please help..

Unhide MMS settings on Lumia Icon after Denim

Ok, I was able to get it to work using a modified version of the Windows 10TP for non-supported devices work-around. I edited the WPFlights.xml file to replace the «enable tethering» with «Unhide MMS APN». I am now up and running with on AT&T with my Lumia Icon (also tested/working on HTC One M8 for Windows from Verizon).

If you want to do this on your phone, basically follow the instructions here HOWTO: Install Windows 10 for Phones on Non-supported devices (and other hacks) but replace the WPFlights.xml with the one I have attached. One heads up, I had to install the full version of Fiddler and enable HTTPS before I could install the certificate

Warning: This could brick your phone, so use it at your own risk.

Yes, I should have clarified I AM NOT running the Windows 10TP on my Lumia Icon. I only used the method for the inherited permissions so I could write to the registry.

I actually couldn’t get this working in Windows 10 TP, only on Windows 8.1 on a Lumia Icon w/ 8.1.1 and an HTC One M8 with 8.1.1

Thanks for the quick response! I browsed through the xml file and it appears that it makes other changes. I could be misunderstanding it.
Do I need to reset my device before applying this workaround?

No, don’t reset your phone or you will lose it since it reverts back to the original OEM/Carrier settings. I left the XML basically intact except for the last part (see below) because I don’t have a lot of experience (computers, and even more so xml/programming, is just a hobby of mine) and I figured it was safer to replace the «Enable Internet Tethering» option than try to add another option below and risk messing up the XML completely.

The Windows Insider App isn’t all or nothing like Preview for Developers, so you can choose among a number of different options that seem to write to the registry in different locations or ways. Once you get in the app, you will have a few options. I don’t believe it makes any other changes to the registry when you enable the MMS APN with my method, but if someone can find other changes than I will attempt to rewrite the method to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Here is the XML that drives the registry change. Its found right at the bottom of the document, and my changes are in bold

Update: Now that we found a solution, I am updating this post with the instructions instead of leaving the solution further down in the thread.

Solution:
On Verizon (and possibly others), the ability to edit MMS APN settings is hidden. Thanks to the help of @RustyGrom and @AlvinPhilemon I was able to leverage the HOWTO: Install Windows 10 for Phones on Non-supported devices (and other hacks) method and a modified WPFlights.xml to unhide the settings. This allows Verizon Windows Phones to run fully and properly on other GSM carriers networks (AT&T in my case)

I was not able to get this to work on Windows 10 TP, as there seems to be a few bugs in the way the APN’s are functioning at the moment. Use this method if you want to enable MMS APN access in Windows Phone 8.1 (and most likely 8 as well).

Instructions:
1. Follow instructions from the thread created by @RustyGrom, however replace the WPFlights.xml file with the file attached to this post
2. If you are having problems downloading the certificate, install the full version of Fiddler and make sure to enable HTTPS
3. At the very bottom of the Windows Insider app, you should now have an option to «Unhide MMS APN» instead of «Enable Tethering» like in the original method. Click on the «Unhide MMS APN» and go through the instructions. Once you set it and restart the phone, you should see MMS APN
