Получил регистрацию в программе BizSpark. Поэтому приходится учиться новым вещам – работе с Azure и Windows Server 2012. Вот в частности – очень простой вопрос – где взять бесплатный антивирус для Server 2012 . При попытке установить обычный Avast – получил ошибку ((( Но решение нашлось – и это MSE. Может быть не самый лучший вариант, но тем не менее. Ниже текст с одного из блогов интернета как это сделать.

How to install Microsoft Security Essentials in Windows Server 2012

1. First of all download Microsoft Security Essential

1. Once it’s downloaded, right click on the setup file (MSEInstall.exe). Click on Properties.

1. Click on the Compatibility Tab. Check the Box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select the option ‘Windows 7’

1. Run ‘Command Prompt’ as Administrator

1. Disable OS limit for Security Essential by running this command ‘MSEInstall.exe /disableoslimit’

Installation will begin. Complete the installation wizard.

Note: Microsoft Security Essentials can be installed in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 by following the same steps.

Антивирусная защита серверов всегда была актуальной. Сейчас я расскажу простой способ, как установить Microsoft Security Essentials на Windows Server 2008 и 2012 R2. Почему MSE? Данный продукт Microsoft хорошо зарекомендовал себя как сбалансированный инструмент для защиты операционных систем семейства Windows desktop класса. Ниже представлена краткая инструкция:

• скачиваем MSE с официального сайта, редакция для Windows 7 64bit
• устанавливаем для загруженного файла режим совместимости с Windows 7
• запускаем командную строку (cmd) с параметрами администратора
• переходим в каталог с .exe файлом программы и запускаем установку с параметром “mseinstall /disableoslimit”

Готово, бесплатный антивирус в лице MSE для Windows Server 2012 R2 установлен. Справедливости ради, стоит упомянуть про два момента. Первый заключается в том, что Microsoft Security Essentials может использоваться и на более ранних версия серверных операционных системах, таких как Windows Server 2003 и 2008/R2. Второй – это нарушает политику лицензирования Windows.

Если по каким-либо причинам, MSE вас не удовлетворяет, как бесплатное решение по антивирусной защите Windows Server, можно проделать следующий трюк с Avira Free Antivirus. Отыскать старую версию данного ПО (где нет проверки на ОС), выполнить инсталляцию и обновить до последней актуальной версии.

Windows Defender is not in any 2012 product not sure how you are seeing that especially on Core. But this article explains it a bit. Windows defender is a consumer product and 2012 is not.

So on Core installation, it really IS present.

All my findings are the same so far, that it is enabled and install as default on 2012 R2Core, but no information regarding Full GUI.

And that it was not supported on 2012.

I understand what you’re saying, however I did find a slightly different story. I followed a link in another thread which took me to a page called, «Greg Olsen — Yellow Duck Guy-«, who says that Defender is included in the Desktop Experience feature. Here’s the link:

He provides step-by-step instructions to install that feature. I followed his instructions and installed the feature, but in Foundation edition Defender is not included. I’ve just installed a Evaluation Copy of Standard, and am installing the Desktop Experience there to see if it truly does include Defender.

Back from the test and GLUBB. I guess you’re correct, because in spite of what the Yellow Duck Guy says, Defender is not in the Desktop Experience of Standard either.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, какой антивирус (можно платный) можно использовать на Windows Server 2012 R2?

На Server реализован RemApp, локальные пользователи используют браузера с выходом в инет, хотелось бы иметь хоть какую-нибудь защиту.

Наткнулся на ESET для бизнеса, но там что-то уж через чур всё круто, песочница и т.д.

вы хотите не такой крутой антивирус как eset? думаю что если заплатить за eset меньше денег то и плюшек вы тоже получите меньше.

У МС есть антивирус (знаю конторы которые пользуются), каспер, нод, симантек, аваст бизнес (недавно мелькал на форуме) и тд.

Как показывает практика не один антивирус не может гарантировать 100% защиту, так что выбор за Вами, как было ранее предложено. Так как в случае заражением например Ransomware, не во всех случаях антивирусные компании смог вам помочь с расшифровкой, как показывает практика в этих случаях они могут лишь посоветовать использовать резервные копии данных.

К сожалению, во многих случаях, если троянец-вымогатель попал на ваше устройство, вам ничего не удастся сделать, если вы не успели сделать бэкап или не используете защитное ПО.

Но на, что лучше обратить внимание это на то, чтоб у Вас ежедневно бэкапились все критические для вас данные куда нибудь, куда никто не сможет попасть (изолированную сеть, как минимум для одной копии бэкапа, а лучше иметь несколько видов бэкапа, на случай если один из варианто будет по какой-то причине не рабочий).
