Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store
If you’re in Windows 10 and you’re having problems with an app from Microsoft Store, consider these updates and fixes.
First, sign in to your Microsoft account. Next, work through these possible solutions in the order presented.
Make sure Windows has the latest update: Select check for updates now, and then select Check for updates. Or, select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.
Make sure that your app works with Windows 10. For more info, see Your app doesn’t work with Windows 10.
Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start button, and then from the apps list, select Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store, select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.
Troubleshoot games: If you’re having issues installing a game, see Troubleshoot game installations on Windows 10.
Reinstall your apps: In Microsoft Store, select See more > My Library. Select the app you want to reinstall, and then select Install.
Run the troubleshooter: Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

Click your Start Button, type cmd, then right click Command Prompt and choose ‘Run as Administrator’
Run the following commands, one at a time and hit Enter after each one:
SC config wuauserv start= auto
SC config bits start= auto
SC config cryptsvc start= auto
SC config trustedinstaller start= auto
Close Command Prompt and restart your PC
Then open the Settings App
Go to Update & Security — Troubleshoot
Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter at the bottom of that settings page
Then try downloading form the Store again . .. .

Run the WSReset script
The very first thing we’re going to try is Windows 10’s default Store reset command. This tool is widely used when dealing with various Store problems. As its name says, it resets the Store to its ‘original’ state’, resolving potential problems on the way.
Here’s how to run the WSReset command in Windows 10:

В этой инструкции — различные способы исправить ситуацию, когда приложения магазина Windows 10 не устанавливаются, не скачиваются или не обновляются. Сначала — более простые способы, мало влияющие на саму ОС (а потому безопасные), а затем, если они не помогут, в большей степени затрагивающие системные параметры и, в теории, способные привести к дополнительным ошибкам, так что будьте осторожны.
Перед тем как приступить: если вдруг ошибки при скачивании приложений Windows 10 у вас начались после установки какого-то антивируса, то попробуйте временно отключить его и проверить, решило ли это проблему. Если перед появлением проблем вы отключали «шпионские функции» Windows 10 с помощью сторонних программ, проверьте, чтобы в вашем файле hosts не были запрещены серверы Microsoft (см. Сброс магазина Windows 10, выход из учетной записи
Первое, что следует попробовать — это выполнить сброс магазина Windows 10, а также выйти из своей учетной записи в нем и снова зайти.
- Для этого, предварительно закрыв магазин приложений, наберите в поиске wsreset и выполните команду от имени администратора (см. скриншот). То же самое можно сделать, нажав клавиши Win+R и введя wsreset.
- После успешного завершения работы команды (работа выглядит как открытое, иногда продолжительное время, окно командной строки), автоматически должен будет запуститься магазин приложений Windows
- Если приложения не начали скачиваться после wsreset, выйдите из своей учетной записи в магазине (клик по значку учетки, выбор учетной записи, нажатие по кнопке «Выйти»). Закройте магазин, запустите заново и снова войдите со своей учетной записью.
На самом деле, способ не так часто оказывается рабочим, но начать я рекомендую именно с него.
Устранение неполадок Windows 10
Еще один простой и безопасный способ, который следует попробовать — встроенные средства диагностики и устранения неполадок Windows 10.
- Зайдите в панель управления (см. Как открыть панель управления в Windows 10)
- Выберите пункт «Поиск и исправление проблем» (если в поле «Просмотр» у вас стоит «Категория») или «Устранение неполадок» (если «Значки»).
- Слева нажмите «Просмотр всех категорий».
- Выполните поиск и устранение неполадок для «Центр обновления Windows» и «Приложения из Магазина Windows».
После этого на всякий случай перезагрузите компьютер и снова проверьте, устанавливаются ли приложения из магазина теперь.
Сброс центра обновлений
Следующий способ следует начать с отключения от Интернета. После того, как отключились, выполните следующие шаги:
- Запустите командную строку от имени администратора (через меню правого клика по кнопке «Пуск», после чего по порядку выполните следующие команды.
- net stop wuauserv
- move c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.bak
- net start wuauserv
- Закройте командную строку и перезагрузите компьютер.
Проверьте, стали ли скачиваться приложения из магазина после этих действий.
Переустановка магазина Windows 10
Об том, как это делается я уже писал в инструкции Как установить магазин Windows 10 после удаления, более кратко (но тоже действенно) приведу и здесь.
Для начала, запустите командную строку от имени администратора, после чего введите команду
Нажмите Enter, а по завершении выполнения команды, закройте командную строку и перезагрузите компьютер.
На данный момент времени, это все способы, которые я могу предложить для решения описываемой проблемы. Если появится что-то новое, добавлю в руководство.

а вот второй раз опять начало, но вышел и зашел из учетки пошло всё хорошо , думаю не дойдет до других вариантов

Здравствуйте! Я удалил игру, а потом решил заново установить, но вылезает ошибка 0x80073cf0. Все методы которые описаны выше сделал (кроме переустановки магазина), но ошибка осталась. Подскажите как ещё можно решать данную проблему?

Мне помогло только это решение (все остальные ну ни разу не сработали):
Открыть Центр управления сетями — выбрать IP версии 4 (TCP\IPv4) – Свойства – отметить «использовать следующие адреса DNS-серверов
Предпочитаемый вставить 4.2.2.1
Альтернативный вставить 4.2.2.2
Поставить галочку – подтвердить параметры при выходе.
Перезагрузиться и наслаждаться рабочим приложением Магазин.

Мне ничего из этого списка не помогло. Решил проблему с Центром обновления Windows. Было выключено в службе. Поставил тип запуска «вручную» и запустил. Теперь приложения устанавливаются и работают без проблем!

Ничего не помогло из этого. В Службах, как оказалось, была отключена «Служба установки Microsoft Store». Проверьте и у себя.

Перепробовал все, ничего не помогало. Проблема решилась только чисткой реестра с помощью reg organizer.

здравствуите я загружала ноутбук после перезагрузок все приложения и программы не загружается абсолютно нотбук пустой wsreset а это программа черный нечего нету что мне делать помогите пожалуйста

Microsoft Store doesn’t download
I have had problems with the Microsoft Store now for a couple of days. I am just trying to download an app, and I cannot get it done. I have tried every solution I could find on the internet and nothing helps. The troubleshoot finds nothing, the WSReset.exe doesn’t even close (it just keeps on blinking and doesn’t appear to do anything). Resetting the Microsoft Store in the Apps & Features part of the settings also doesn’t seem to do anything. I have also entered some commands I found on solutions by other people and nothing worked. (yes I rebooted my PC a lot of times).
Right now I don’t even get a «downloading» message or bar. Pressing install in the app does nothing and pressing install in My Library removes the button and then there is empty space. Some time ago I also got it to display a bar but then forever be at the beginning of the download and after a while give a «error». I also previously got an error code «Code: 0x80080005». But I haven’t gotten this message today.
I have no idea what I can do anymore. I just want to download one app 🙁

Hi Maarten. I’m Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.
I’ll give you everything possible that works to fix the Store, based on helping to fix it a dozen times a day for years here. Even if you’ve tried a step, please do it over in this sequence:
Check also the Windows 10 Version number at Settings > System > About. If less than 1909 skip to Step 11 to upgrade to the latest by the most stable method.
2) Right click on the time and date in the far right corner of the taskbar. Choose Adjust Date and time settings, at the top make sure the time is correct. If it’s wrong, manually adjust it and make sure the sliders for Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are set to on.
3) Type CMD in Search, run as Admin, type in box and press Enter, wait until it confirms Services were stopped successfully:
net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
Delete everything you find in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.
Restart PC to restart these Services, or type in Admin Command:
net start wuauserv
net start bits
4) Try running the Windows Store apps Troubleshooter in Windows Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
5) Type CMD in Search box, Run CMD as administrator, type WSReset.exe and hit Enter. Or in the Search type wsreset.exe select Run as administrator.
6) If that fails to fix the problem go to Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & Features to highlight Microsoft Store, choose Advanced Options, then Reset. After it resets, restart PC.
7) If that fails then re-register the Microsoft Store:
Type CMD in Search, run as Admin, copy and paste into box:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
If you receive error «Cannot find path ‘C:\AppxManifest.xml’ because it does not exist» it means the Store was uninstalled. Try all the steps here:

If these do not work then skip to Step 11 to reinstall WIndows including the Store while keeping your apps, files and most settings in place..
8) Clear the LocalCache Folder: Open Run by pressing the Windows key + R hotkey.
Copy and paste %localappdata% in Run and click OK.
Open Packages> Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe > LocalCache folder.
Press the Ctrl + A hotkey to select all content within the LocalCache folder.
Press the Delete button.
9) Type services.msc in Search box, choose Run as Administrator, from Services tab ensure that Microsoft Store Install Service is checked, if not restart PC.

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account because of the serious and persistent problem with corrupted accounts. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
11) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest version. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m.

I am now at step 7 because all the steps before did not work. I have one question about it.
I ran the command you supplied and it gave the error:
Add-AppxPackage : Cannot find path ‘C:\WINDOWS\WinStore\AppManifest.xml’
because it does not exist.
In your answer you said that this error means that my Microsoft Store does not exist, but I am not sure about that. I can still open the Store and navigate around in it. Some functionality is very broken but it looks as though the Store is installed though.

I did a repair install and that fixed my problem, but now a lot of my applications don’t work anymore and I cannot uninstall them. I want to uninstall most of my programs and reinstall some of them again, but I can’t uninstall them. They are not in the Apps & Features setting. Do you know if there is a way to search my file system for apps? Right now I have loads of programs that are not registered or something and not recognized by Apps & Features.
EDIT: Nevermind, I have decided I will just go with a clean install for windows, it should also make my PC a bit faster since I got a LOT of junk on it.

After I decided to just do a complete reinstall of my windows system, the store broke once again. The install button is greyed out and my cursor shows a «blocked» icon when I hover it. In my library it shows an exclamation mark in the place where it used to say Install.
I noticed that I can however install apps such as twitter and spotify, but not «Windows Terminal» or «Python 3.8» which I want

Maarten, Compare the install you did with this gold standard Clean Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki. Note the driver steps are so important they are printed in red. You must also delete all partitions off the drive (with all other drives unplugged) or it is NOT clean.
The reason I ask you to do this is because no one of millions who have followed the install in that link has ever come back to report problems that I have seen. It is also a great learning experience that will make you permanently the master of your PC because you will learn what works best and have applied it with your own hands.
If you don’t have time to invest in that now, there is also an automated Fresh Start that reinstalls Windows while shedding factory bloatware that can cause issues and affect performance, saves your files, but doesn’t clear the drive to get it cleanest: https://www.howtogeek.com/265054/how-to-easily-.
